Set on the Kohala Coast
of the Big Island, the Kona Village is a great place to relax. Without phones, televisions, or radios, it's a perfect
place for couples or families to get away from it all in their own thatch-roof hale (house) near the resort's sandy beach.
The resort is built on the grounds of an ancient Hawaiian village, and includes a magnificent pertoglyphs site right on the
property. Some
hales or bungalows are oceanfront, some nestled in a rain-forest-like setting of ponds and gardens. Rates INCLUDE all
meals, and authentic Polynesian luau (Wednesdays and Fridays), grounds tours (including the petroglyphs), tennis, sports activities,
and rides in the resort's glass-bottom boat. Children's programs are available. Room rates at Kona Village start
at $590 per night + taxes and go up to $1200 per night + taxes, depending on room location and amenities. There are literally hundreds
of resorts and condo properties on the Kohala Coast, so if the Kona Village is out of your budget, don't let that deter
you. Fill out the free qoute request form below and let me research a hawaiian vacation that fits within your budget.
