Tours: We went on a snorkeling cruise where we went to Rick's Cafe to watch
the cliff divers and also to the cave where they shot scenes from Pirates of the Caribbean. We didn't see as many tropical
fish as we would have liked, but the cruise was worth it. We actually had more fun feeding the fish off
our own beach!
What is one thing that you think everyone traveling to the area should see/do?: We just loved our
beach at the Riu Tropical Bay. We thought we had the best beach by far of any of the resorts on our strip.
Even better than the beach at the Couples Resort Negril.
Vacation over-all:
4. This resort wasn't as romantic
as our Honeymoon in Mexico, but we still had a great time! The all-inclusive aspect of it was wonderful.
The rooms were very nice. The only thing we didn't like was that our bed wasn't technically
a "king-size," it was 2 double beds put together. If we would have asked ahead
of time, we could have gotten a king size. We did get upgraded to an Oceanfront room so that was definitely
worth it. The food was pretty good. I would definitely recommend getting reservations at the restaurants
rather than doing buffet style. One thing that we didn't like was that our beach wasn't private. Vendors
would come and try and sell you things all the time. We were spoiled on our honeymoon as we never had problems
with this. The entertainment was great! The Michael Jackson show seriously put tears in my eyes it was
that good! Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this resort to others.
